Can I use InstaStock completely offline? ▼
Yes, InstaStock is built offline-first. All scanning, auditing, and count adjustments work without any internet connection. The data is cached locally on your device and automatically synced to Supabase when a connection is restored.
Do I need a credit card to sign up? ▼
No. You can register for the Free plan and test all basic features without inputting any credit card details. You only enter payment details if you decide to purchase a paid subscription.
How does billing work across platforms? ▼
Your subscription is linked to your InstaStock account, not your device. Whether you use iOS, Android, or the web app, a single subscription covers all platforms. Payments are processed securely via Dodo Payments. You can manage your subscription from the Account tab inside the app, or from this website.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly billing? ▼
Yes, you can switch between monthly and yearly billing at any time. If you switch to yearly, you'll save up to 22% compared to monthly pricing. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Can I print barcodes on standard printers? ▼
Absolutely. You can download and print generated QR codes using standard desktop printers on letter paper sheets, or configure thermal label printers (like Brother, Rollo, or Dymo) to print individual stickers.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits? ▼
You won't lose any data. If you reach a limit (e.g., 100 items on Free), you'll be prompted to upgrade. Your existing inventory remains fully accessible and synced — you just won't be able to add new items beyond the limit until you upgrade.
